Our journey began with a passion for animals and a vision to create a dedicated space where dogs could receive the finest grooming care. Our founder, originally from Hong Kong, always dreamed of working with animals. After moving to the U.S. to study, they discovered the world of dog grooming and immediately fell in love with it. With a goal to blend their love for animals with their entrepreneurial spirit, they opened their first dog grooming business in 2006 at the age of 27.

After gaining valuable experience and building a loyal clientele, our founder decided to expand and open a second, larger location in downtown Brooklyn. This move allowed Shaggie Pet Grooming to serve even more dogs and pet owners while maintaining the high-quality care and personalized attention that had become our hallmark. Over the years, Shaggie Pet Grooming has built a reputation for offering a calm and professional environment where dogs feel safe and loved.
